Where can I make an investment for a New Zealand investor visa?

Investment, for residency purposes must be made into what is known as an acceptable investment and this can be:
* Buying a business – investing into an existing New Zealand business
* Starting a business – commencing your own new operation
* Buying commercial property – the purchase of a commercial property either as your own premises or for investment purposes
* Buying residential property – this must be a new residential property development that is not for the investor’s personal use and designed to make a commercial return on the open market.
* Buying shares – The purchase of equity in NZ firms whether public or private. It may also be a passive investment visa managed funds or active with direct investment.
* Buying bonds – issued by the NZ Government, NZ local authorities or approved NZ banks, finance companies or firms.
