What other occupations may qualify for a temporary work visa under the special arrangements category?

The following highly specialised areas of work may mean those in these occupations may be eligible for a New Zealand Specialised Work Visa:
* Foreign crew on a fishing vessel –may be eligible for a specialised work visa if you are contracted to work as a member of the crew on a New Zealand, or chartered foreign fishing vessel, situated in New Zealand waters.
* Interpreters from Japan – if you have a full time job offer in the New Zealand tourism industry may qualify for a work visa for up to 3 years.
* Thai Chefs- if you have a full-time job offer from a New Zealand employer as a Thai chef you may qualify for a work visa for up to three years.
* Religious workers – genuine religious workers who provide New Zealand communities the opportunity to practise, maintain and advance their religious beliefs may qualify for a work visa of up to 2 years.
